Week 4 Post 1- Abbey

Guys, we're gonna have absolutely no issue with time. I just edited in our individual segments and just barely managed to clip it down to 8 minutes, and that's without the student interviews and author segments.
It's saving now. Once I finish that, I'll do another version with all the other sources on there. I'll post them both on this blog and let you guys decide which we should present.

In the meantime, here's the summary section!

The song I used is the intrumental for Sunny Hill's "The Grasshopper Song". Sunny Hill is a Korean band, and the song is about the daily struggle people face between working hard and having fun. The music video tells Aesop's fable of the Ant and the Grasshopper, but from the Grasshopper's point of view. You see the ant works hard and gets things done without argument, but he is disappointed with his life. The grasshopper shows him how to live with some freedom and creativity. The song has an interesting sound that fits the Hunger Games well, and I thought the message of rebellion against the set order would match HG also. Here's the mv for it if you're interested, music starts at 0:55-

And here's the actual fanmade instrumental that I'm using!
